Split workouts or Full Body Workouts ? Which Is Better

When you talk to someone about their gym routine, the most likely answer is " Well Monday i normally do chest and biceps , Tuesday back and triceps etc," It seems that everyone seems to follow a split body routine, split body routines are great, like they let you hit every body part hard, and give ensure that each muscle will grow.

Full body workouts are great, and speaking from experience, I have found them more beneficial as firstly, you are actually able to hit the muscles a lot harder, as it means that you spread the whole workout over the week, so therefore you are able to lift a lot heavier in each session on a particular muscle, rather than having to sacrifice weight on each exercise as your muscles are fatigued.

I have also found that you don't need to be in the gym lifting weights as often as a split routine, meaning that you are able to fit in cardio a lot easier, and more frequently, another major advantage that I have found is that  the workouts are a lot more intense as you are using all your muscles in a workout rather than just a couple.

What do you think, do you reckon split routines are better ?, have your say
